“I wanted to represent in my work the transition between the period called “Belle epoque” and the unstable period after the war.
After research and tests, I chose the circular form like a symbol of time and his perpetual redemption. In fact, despite the high barbary level reach during this war, the same thing happened 25 years later and until now.
The sculpture is divided in three parts: at first, the form is fluid and dynamic to recall the “Belle epoque”. This form is roughly stopped with four year’s war in a crash of metal and fire.
The time continue after his course but the form is totally deform like the nations ravaged and the casualties.”
